Typical first bass lesson
- I will check your instrument for maximum playability and advise on any adjustments that may be required (see setups)
- Discuss your favourite artists / bands and personal goals
- Briefly cover posture / tuning
- Introduction to playing with drums and guitar using root notes
- Introduction to rest / free strokes
- Introduction to 1's 5's and octaves
Obviously other topics may crop up and be discussed but I hope the above information will give you some idea what to expect from your first introduction into becoming a musician!
